Linwood Cemetery

Linwood Cemetery is not only a memorial garden to commemorate the deceased, it is also an open-air museum of the art that out lives life, left behind to celebrate all the lives lived and lost. This historic cemetery began functioning in 1828, four months before Columbus became a city. Some of the cemetery's notable citizens include Confederate soldiers, Coca-Cola inventor Dr. John Pemberton, and Dr. Edwin Degraffinreid, who helped to design the city of Columbus.
