Kadie the Cow

Locals and visitors on the Chattahoochee RiverWalk near Banks Food Hall can look up and see Kadie the Cow. She’s the official cow of Columbus, Georgia, and has been a local fixture since 1967. Kadie is a 20-foot-high, 2,300-pound fiberglass cow that served as a mascot outside Kinnett Dairies before the company relocated in the early 2000s. Local activism ensured Kadie stayed on site as the property became a Best Buy. Kadie the Cow was carefully moved to her current home near Woodruff Park on November 29, 2022.

Located along Bay Avenue, within eyesight of Whitewater Express, RushSouth Whitewater Park, 11th and Bay, CSU’s Riverside Theatre Complex, and more, Kadie welcomes locals and guests to the Uptown area. As visitors embark on their Uptown adventures, Kadie is there for a photo op.
