The Flint River is a 344‑mile‑long waterway flowing south from Atlanta to the wetlands in the southwestern corner of Georgia. It forms part of the ACF basin alongside the Apalachicola and Chattahoochee rivers. After tackling the whitewater rapids on the Chattahoochee River in Columbus, Georgia, outdoor enthusiasts can sail the scenic Flint River about an hour away.

The Flint River Outdoor Center offers rentals for single‑person kayaks and canoes, as well as eight‑person rafts for groups. Guests can float along the upper course through forested hills, experiencing 200 miles of unimpeded natural wonder.
