Aflac Presents a Full Fall of Free Live Music as Uptown’s Friday Night Concert Series Returns to Broadway and Highside Market
COLUMBUS, GA — The music is staying in Uptown this fall.
Uptown Columbus is bringing back its popular Uptown’s Friday Night Concert Series for an expanded 2026 fall season, featuring eight free Friday night concerts across September and October. Presented by Aflac, with Zelmos as a key sponsor, the series will bring live music, local flavor, and Uptown energy to Broadway in September before moving to Highside Market for four October concerts.
From soul and Latin rhythms to country, funk, rock and roll, this year’s lineup offers something for everyone—and gives the community even more reasons to make Uptown their Friday night destination.
“Friday nights in Uptown have become something people look forward to, and this fall we’re keeping that momentum going for two full months,” said Tracey Green, Director of Marketing and Communication of Uptown Columbus. “We’re excited to bring a diverse lineup of artists to different areas of Uptown and create opportunities for people to come together, enjoy great music, and experience everything our district has to offer.”
The fall series kicks off on Broadway with four Friday night concerts from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
September will bring a different sound and experience each week, creating four distinct Friday night celebrations throughout the Uptown district.
And when September wraps up, the fun doesn’t stop.
The series moves to Highside Market for four additional Friday nights in October, creating a unique open-air concert experience in one of Uptown’s growing gathering places.
The October lineup includes:
The move to Highside Market gives concertgoers a new setting to enjoy live music while experiencing the restaurants, gathering spaces, and atmosphere that make Highside Market a destination within Uptown.
The expanded fall series reflects Uptown Columbus’ commitment to creating experiences that bring people into the district, support local businesses and strengthen the sense of community that makes Uptown unique.
Whether it’s dancing on Broadway in September or settling in at Highside Market in October, guests can expect free live music, great food, local businesses, and a Friday night atmosphere that’s distinctly Uptown.
“We’re grateful to Aflac, Zelmos and the many businesses and community partners who help make these concerts possible,” said Green. “Free events like this don’t just create great memories—they bring people together and encourage residents and visitors to spend time in Uptown.”
Guests are encouraged to bring their chairs, invite their friends, and make a night of it by enjoying dinner, drinks, shopping, and live music throughout the district.
All concerts are free and take place Fridays from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
