Crossroads Folk Art Festival Brings Color and Creativity to Columbus
Columbus, GA – March 3, 2025
Folk Art Junction of The Columbus Collective Museums is proud to announce the first annual Crossroads Folk Art Festival, a vibrant celebration of folk art and community spirit, set to take place at Rose Hill Park on 33rd Street and Hamilton Road. The festival, happening on MAY 10, 2025, will feature talented folk artists and vendors from across the region, offering a diverse array of handcrafted artworks, unique goods, and cultural experiences.
“Rose Hill Park has not seen much activity in terms of the arts, and we believe this festival will bring light, joy, and a renewed sense of positivity to the area,” said Kaitlynn Etheridge, Director of Columbus Collective Museums. “This is more than just an art festival – it’s a movement to uplift the community through creativity.”
Festival Goers can expect:
● Folk Art & Handmade Goods
● Poetry Readings and Artists/Collectors Talks
● Live Music from area musicians
● Live Art & Demonstrations
● Family-Friendly Atmosphere
● Food & Refreshments
The Crossroads Folk Art Festival is a natural extension of Columbus Collective Museums' mission to preserve, celebrate, and share artistic expression in all its forms. The museum itself houses an impressive folk art collection, and its gallery, Folk Art Junction, serves as a hub for artists and collectors alike.
The event is free to attend, and all are welcome to join in the festivities. For more information, vendor inquiries, or to support the festival, call Kaitlynn Etheridge (706) 330-7806 or Allen Woodall (706) 332-6378.
