I hate to brag, but humor me just this once! Found out last night that Columbus, GA has made the list of the Top 100 Places to Live in the US...according to a study done by livability.com. This isn't the first time we've made rank in an impressive list like this, but it's always a pleasure to read some good news about the place we call home. Looking through the list, we're in good company with other notable cities around the country, but the interesting thing I noticed, looks like Columbus is the ONLY city in Georgia to have made it in this line-up!
If you need more proof that we live in an exceptional city, take a few minutes this weekend and get out and enjoy some of the special things that make us unique and a great place to live...go on a guided bird walk at Oxbow Meadows this Saturday morning, lace up your running shoes and join in on the Columbus Roadrunner 5K Race this Sunday morning in Uptown, have a good belly-laugh at the Springer Opera House's No Shame Theatre every Friday night, or check out the cool stuff at the Columbus Museum's Second Sunday program. The list of things to do goes on and on, so take a few minutes and peruse the online Event Calendar to find out what's out there.
