Another long week is coming to an end and as I write this, I'm happy to announce the clouds seem to be moving out and Mr. Sunshine is gracing us with his presence! And not a moment too soon as we need to get this weekend started and find some fun stuff to get out and do.
You may want to take a look at the Event Calendar because as it always does this time of year, it fills up with all sorts of events and happenings...it's a great resource to keep track of everything going on. I mean, you can go to this one site and find out all the details on anything ranging from Sherlock's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, called "Sockhop Suicide," Les Miserables at the Springer Opera House, Kids Camp & Summer Fun Fair at the National Infantry Museum, and even a workshop up at Hills & Dales in LaGrange called "Getting Black & Blue"...berries that is!! Another reason to check the event calendar often is because many of these events are selling out quickly. A good many of the Murder Mystery Dinners have sold out already and seating is very limited for the remaining performances of Les Mis. It pays to know what's going on in town and to get your tickets while you can.
