I just want a caramel apple...with nuts. It cannont officially be Autumn in my world until I get a caramel apple with nuts. The gooier, the better. Looks like my prayer will be answered because with the Greater Columbus Fair in town at the Civic Center, my lust for the toffee-covered, tart and crispy treat will finally be satisfied. I'll bet there are some folks who actually go to the Fair for the rides, games, sights and sounds, and that's all well and good but enjoying all of that while walking the midway and sinking your teeth into this sticky-sweet orb of goodness, life just doesn't get much better than that! You've got until Sunday to let the kid in you come out and play at the Fair. Hmmm, maybe I'll have some french fries with vinegar for dessert................
