Hello Sunshine!  Hello Spring!  Hello Weekend!

I'm no meteorologist.  In fact, I had to use Spell Check to make sure I hadn't left out some of the letters...which I did, by the way.  But you don't have to be a "weather man" to know that it looks like we FINALLY have a perfect weekend to get out and play.  Perfect.  As in 80 degrees, not much humidity, and a slight breeze.  Yes, please!

So, have you taken a look at the Event Calendar to start making some plans for your off time?  Probably a good idea to do that because this is one of those weekends where you're going to have to make some choices...but that's a good problem.  You might be in the mood for some outdoor festival fun with the Spring Fling at the Columbus Civic Center--if for no other reason than to try a Red Velvet Funnel Cake.  Oh, and that was no typo.  I said Red Velvet Funnel Cake.  Or if it's music you want, set up camp in Woodruff Park in Uptown Columbus tonight and all day Saturday for Frogtown Hollow Music Jam--they'll have just about any genre of music that gets your toes tapping.  You can also take your cell phone and/or iPad to the Springer Opera House for "Oops...I Tweeted Again" because you and you digital media will become part of the show!  And then there's the Kaleidoscope concert at RiverCenter, big stuff going on at the Columbus Museum with their "Let There Be Art" event all weekend, and to top it off...a huge Easter Egg Hunt at Columbus Botanical Garden on Sunday.

Time to get your weekend started!
