Happy Thanksgiving Fun in Columbus, GA!
Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family and friends......but when it's time to get those family and friends out of the house this holiday weekend, there's still plenty for you to get out and do! Pile everyone up in the car and take the short trip to Callaway Gardens and drive through the magic of Fantasy in Lights--one of the largest outdoor holiday lights events in this part of the world. In fact, there are over 8 MILLION lights to dazzle you. And the weather looks perfect for it this weekend.
To keep the winter theme going and to work off a little of that dressing and pumpkin pie, lace up your skates at the Columbus Ice Rink and take a few turns gliding on the ice. They have skates for you to rent and if you're like me...plenty of wall to hang on to! The rink will be open Friday-Sunday from 4:00-9:00pm.
Or how about just kicking back and enjoy some incredible harmonies with the group "Straight No Chaser!" They'll be performing one show only at RiverCenter this Saturday night (Nov. 28) at 7:30pm. I hear these guys are an unforgettable live act and they'll be doing new works from their latest album. Sounds like this is going to be quite a show!
