Winter Break Followed by Free Admission at Callaway Gardens

What:

Winter Break
The first 15 days of January, a timeframe with historically low visitation, Callaway Gardens** will temporarily close operations to the public for a Winter Break.  Reservation agents will be available daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions and book future reservations, which also can be made online 24 hours a day at www.callawaygardens.com.  To reach someone, please email reservations@callawaygardens.com or call 1.800.352.3810.  For group reservations, someone will be available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  To contact Group Sales, call 1.800.543.7121 or email sales@callawaygardens.com.

Free Admission
Beginning Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, admission to the Gardens will be free on weekdays* through Friday, Feb. 27.  There are lots of fun things to do and see at Callaway Gardens in the colder months, such as witnessing butterflies emerging and taking flight in the warm, tropical Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center and exploring the beautiful John A. Sibley Horticultural Center with gorgeous floral displays.  While visiting, get outdoors for a little exercise on one of the many walking trails or meander through the Gardens on the Discovery Bicycle Trail (bicycles are available for rent or bring your own). It’s amazing what wonders nature provides at this time of year.

For those who have visited Callaway Gardens before, free admission during this time is one way to show our appreciation for their patronage and support of our mission of connecting man and nature.  For those who have not had the opportunity, we want to invite them at no cost on these special dates to experience and discover Callaway Gardens.  Every season provides a great reason to visit Callaway Gardens!
