Movie, Live Music, Fireworks, Wakesurfing and Beach Fun

 

WHAT:
There are so many reasons to be at Callaway Gardens this weekend:

The weather forecast is wonderful.

Robin Lake Beach will be the site of some amazing wakesurfing as it hosts Nautique’s 2015 USA National Wake Surf Championship.

To celebrate the Nautique USA Wake Surf National Championships, at dark there will be a fireworks show.
Friday night will feature the last “Summer Movie on the Beach” for the 2015 season.  The featured attraction is Guardians of the Galaxy.  The movie will begin at dark.  Be sure to bring a chair or blanket.

Musical Artist Neal Lucas will be the feature of Saturday’s Summer Sunset Concert Series.

Admission prior to 5 p.m. is $20/adult; $15/senior; $10/child ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger.  Friday and Saturday are the last days of the Summer for $5 admission after 5 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 29
8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  First Qualifying Heats; All competitors are scheduled to ride Friday.

Saturday, Aug. 30
8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Second Qualifying Heats

Sunday, Aug. 31
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Pro Division Finals
3:30 p.m.  Awards Ceremony at the over-water ski Pavilion at Robin Lake
