RiverCenter Announces 2025-26 Season
From legendary musical icons, internationally touring dance groups and family-friendly programming, to “the best musical of the century,” RiverCenter’s 2025-2026 season lineup has something for everyone.
The season begins with a bang: One Night of Queen – lauded by Brian May as “More than a likeness” – bringing the iconic riffs of Queen to the RiverCenter stage on September 10th. The Book of Mormon enters stage left with its audacious hilarity, cutting witticisms, and unforgettable musical numbers on October 7th, followed in short succession by a journey down the rabbit hole with MOMIX: a reality-bending reimagination of Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland on October 21st. We finish October with the chilling Phantom of the Opera silent film with The WAVE on the 25th, and the free performance of the U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors on the 27th.
We enter winter with our first ArtsReach Matinee, Ada Twist, Scientist and Friends on Monday, November 3rd. December begins with Three Dog Night on December 4th, after which we kick off the holiday season with our community events including Christmas with The WAVE, Fort Benning’s Maneuver Center of Excellence Band’s Holiday Concert, and our fairy-tale themed “Once Upon a Christmas” Gingerbread Village on display from December 2nd – 19th.
We close out the year with the “ultimate feel-good show,” Choir of Man on December 19th – an energetic romp filled with rock, folk, Broadway and pub tunes for all ages – it’s a party, it’s a concert, and it’s a celebration of the power of community through world-class choreography and toe-tapping tunes.
We begin 2026 with the latest installment in our Virginia Norman Classical Music Series on January 22nd - the Prague Philharmonia joined by renowned violinist Blake Pouliot and pianist Andrew von Oeyen – a concert experience steeped in elegance and emotion. February begins with the return of Riverdance on February 10th, now celebrating 30 years of explosive movement and global cultural impact. Then it’s on to Motown magic as The Miracles featuring Sydney Justin & The Delfonics bring timeless hits and soul to the stage on February 28th.
We welcome spring with our second ArtsReach performance on March 10th – The Stinky Cheese Man & Other Stupid Tales – a wild and wonderful adaptation of Jack & the Bean Stalk and a collection of other fairytale favorites. Our second silent film with The WAVE, Safety Last, will be screened in Heard Theater on March 13th. We welcome the riveting rhythms, bold beats, and ear-grabbing energy of Drumline LIVE to RiverCenter on April 4th. We close out the season with our final silent film with The WAVE – The Mark of Zorro – a swashbuckling silent classic starring Douglas Fairbanks.
With more exciting acts and big names to be announced, this promises to be an unforgettable season at RiverCenter for the Performing Arts!
