PGA Tour’s 2015 Web.com Qualifying School at Callaway Gardens

WHAT:

Inspire your golf game.  Watch those committed to making the PGA Tour in 2016 challenge themselves at the PGA Tour’s 2015 Web.com Qualifying School.   Stage 1 is at Callaway Gardens on Oct. 4-10.

Golfers new to professional golf, or who didn’t perform well enough this year to qualify for 2016, can attend Qualifying School, or Q-School, as a second chance to qualify.  Participants must finish 72 holes of golf, walking the course with caddies, regardless of weather conditions. The public, following appropriate golf etiquette, may attend.

“We are really excited to have this tournament at Callaway Gardens for another Q-School,” said Wyatt Detmer, Callaway Gardens’ director of golf.  “Having hosted the PGA Tour’s Buick Challenge 12 times in the Fall, our courses naturally are in great condition during this time of year.  After this tournament, we hope everyone comes out to try it for themselves.”

A field of 78 golfers is the maximum that can compete.  They must get through Stage 1 to earn a spot enabling them to continue to compete for qualification.
