Columbus, GA-August 18, 2915: Oxbow Meadows will be hosting a new event, The Garden Party on September 12, 2015, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The Garden Party will be a fun filled family event welcoming bees, birds, and butterflies to the local area. Children will have the opportunity to assist Oxbow Meadows in transforming a piece of its property into a beautiful pollinator garden. There will be an array of activities available at the event such as face painting, making mini painted mushrooms, and planting the garden itself. The event is for children 3 to 10 years of age.
Also, Buzz the Bee will be flying through on his way to the hive and each child will receive a free 4 x 6 professional photo with him. Free treats such as popcorn, brownies, and lemonade will also be available.
The Garden Party event is completely free for the public; however, donations are greatly appreciated.
