PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (3/11/2015) – Limited seating will be available for two very special Singer-Songwriter Nights in March. The stage will be littered with guitar cases and the air will be vibrating with the tuning and strumming of instruments. As the artists take their seats, everything will get quiet for Singer-Songwriter Nights to begin. These performers represent a variety of genres and lyrical styles. One by one, they will tell a story of how the song was written and then perform it for the small group of music-lovers fortunate to be in attendance.
On Saturday, March 21, the three featured artists will be Daniel Lee, Cory Quintard and Sam Koon.
Cory Quintard was born and reared in Florida but now calls Nashville home. In high school, he began writing music and hasn’t stopped. Quintard began leading music at a church in Orlando, FL, and just released a new alternative-pop project called “Volunteer.”
Sam Koon is a rustic rock singer with blazing original songs. He has toured the Southeast with his band, Sons of Samson. In 2014, Koon toured with Jessta James and is currently working on his solo album, which is scheduled to be released this Summer.
Georgia native Daniel Lee moved to Nashville and now has a debut album on Average Joe’s Entertainment Label. He loves performing live, but songwriting is the reason he is able to be an artist. Lee’s self-described music style is not country, it’s not rock, it’s southern.
On Saturday, March 28, there will be four singer-songwriters sharing their music including Davis Nix, Kyle Wilson, Rick Brantley and Neal Lucas.
Davis Nix was born and reared in Montgomery, AL, and has worked as everything from a production manager, booking agent, studio engineer, and musician. His style is a mix of Southern, Americana, blues, and country. He recently released his debut album, “Fade.”
Born in Alexander City, AL, Kyle Wilson’s music sent him packing to Texas where he spends most of his days touring the Southeast. He released his first studio album in 2013, and is currently finishing up work on a second album due out in late Spring of this year.
Rick Brantley writes, plays and sings southern rock-n-roll with the heart, soul and body of a young Bruce Springsteen or Bob Segar. Born in Macon, GA, Brantley is now a rock-n-roll singer-songwriter in Nashville.
With influences from The Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule, Precious Bryant , BB King, Stevie Ray, Pink Floyd and Zeppelin, Neal Lucas is an original roots blues rock artist. Originally from Talbot County, GA, he is currently touring in support of his new album "New Day Coming.”
These outdoor performances will be on Callaway Gardens’ Robin Lake Beach Ski Pavilion. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Showtime will be 7:30 p.m.
