Director of Cultural Outreach, Historic Columbus
Historic Columbus turns 50 in 2016 and has created an incredible year to celebrate the organization’s history, our cultural arts partners, and the preservation and history of our community. There will be a variety of events held throughout the year. The six lunch and lectures, Founders Day event, and Annual Meeting/Preservation Awards will all be free and open to the public with refreshments served at each. These educational events are Historic Columbus’ gifts to the community.
Local historian Billy Winn will be our featured speaker on Thursday, March 10th at 12:00 Noon at The Liberty Theatre. Mr. Winn will be discussing his Triumph of Ecunnau-Nexulgee, Line of Splendor, and other works. Lunch will be provided as our gift, so reservations are required. Please RSVP by calling 706-322-0756 by Monday, March 7th.
