Columbus, GA--1.21.2015:  The Chattahoochee Valley Camellia Society would like to cordially invite you to its 2015 Camellia Show Saturday, March 7 – Sunday, March 8 from 1-5pm at the Columbus Museum in Columbus, Georgia.

The show, sanctioned by the American Camellia Society, will have 20 + judges, led by well known Atlanta Camellia enthusiast John Newsome. There will be many categories for growers of all levels, including novice, and many cash awards.

The Camellia Show is open to the public free of charge and spectators as well as competitors are welcome. You do not need to be a Camellia Society member to enter blooms or to attend.

In addition to viewing the breathtaking blooms entered in the Show, you may take advantage of the many exciting exhibitions on view at the Columbus Museum and take a tour of the lovely Bradley Olmsted Garden.  The Columbus Flower Workshop and La Grange Garden Clubs will again be on display during the Camellia Show.

According to Sam Wellborn, President of the CVCS, all blooms may be brought to the Columbus Museum loading dock between 6:30 -10am on Saturday, March 7. Those entering the Show for the first time should arrive at the Columbus Museum loading dock no later than 8:30am to make sure that you have plenty of time to enter your blooms before judging begins.  Camellia Society members will be available to help.

Please call Mary Martin 706 323-0069 if you have any questions.
