Celebrate the 2016 Fourth of July Weekend at Callaway Gardens’ Star Spangled Beach Party

 

Sun, Fun, Circus, Music, Fireworks and More

 

 

PINE MOUNTAIN, GA (6/29/16) - Callaway Gardens is eagerly anticipating the Fourth of July weekend celebration!  Join us for three days filled with a ton of fun in the sun culminating with a fantastic fireworks show.  Bring the entire family and enjoy a myriad of beach activities throughout the weekend.

 

Each day will feature a variety of events to entertain all ages including a deejay and bands such as The Chris Collins Band (Sat., 5 p.m.), Daniel Lee Band (Sat., 7 p.m.), Final Answer (Sun., 5 p.m.), The Regulars Band (Sun., 7:30 p.m.) and the Swinging’ Medallions (Mon., 7 p.m.).

 

Guests of all ages are sure to be thrilled by the acrobatics of the Florida State University Flying High Circus as they perform Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 3:30 p.m. and two special shows on Monday, July 4th, at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

 

Join in on Saturday for Sand Castle Competition with prizes awarded. Saturday at dusk, everyone will gather with their eyes to the sky to see a skydiving demonstration by the Silver Wings, the U. S. Army's Command Exhibition Parachute Team.

 

On Monday, Robin Lake Beach will be ready for a day of Independence Day celebration and all American fun. The anticipated patriotic fireworks finale will shoot off at approximately 9:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

 

Robin Lake Beach offers guests a number of activities for a fee including Aqua Island, paddle boats, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding and lessons, rock climbing wall, spider jump, the Xcelerator four-story inflatable water slide and a flying trapeze.  A limited number of beach umbrellas with chairs are available for rent as well as semi-private cabanas overlooking Robin Lake Beach.  And, not to be overlooked, are the traditional Robin Lake Beach games of miniature golf, table tennis, shuffleboard, giant chess and checkers, and bring a disc golf set to try to beginner’s disc golf course.

 

Rest and relax this Fourth of July by staying overnight.  Guests can choose from lodging in the newly acquired Lodge and Spa, the relaxing Southern Pine Cottages, or the secluded Mountain Creek Villas and Vacation Homes, or the quaint Mountain Creek Inn.  The special July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party overnight package includes lodging, admission to the Gardens and Beach Party and breakfast in the Plant Room starting at $189* in The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens.

 

Special Event admission applies July 2-4, 2016.  Saturday and Sunday admission is $25/adult; $12.50/child (6 to 12); and children five and younger are free.  Annual passholders are admitted for free.  Monday, July 4th, Special Event admission is $30/adult; $25/senior 65+; $15/child age 6-12; children 5 and younger are admitted for free.  Tax is additional.  Annual passholders and Military personnel, with valid active duty or retired identification, can enter this special event for half-price.  Veterans also are admitted for half-price.  Admission includes access to the Gardens attractions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and beach activities until they close each night.  On Monday, Robin Lake Beach gate will open at 7 a.m. until the fireworks finale.

 

The Robin Lake Beach entrance is on U.S. Hwy. 27.
