It’s a Happy New Year in Columbus, GA!
Goodbye 2011 and Hello 2012! Wow, where did this year go? They always say that time flies when you're having fun, so maybe that's the reason 2011 seemed to have come and gone in a flash! It was a year full of events and happenings from Pirates at Port Columbus, to a Seafood Festival, Concert Series, Parades and Snow in Uptown, Ice Hockey, Football, Ice Skating, and Softball at South Commons, knockout shows at the Springer Opera House and RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, tons of exhibits and activities at the Columbus Museum and the National Infantry Museum, and all sorts of festivals and fairs…what a jam-packed year.
And the good news? 2012 is looking just as fun-filled as 2011..with maybe even more on the horizon. The best way to find out and keep up with all that's going on is by regularly checking out the Community Calendar. You can search the calendar to find out what's happening on specific dates, by event type, or even the venue. Make sure you check it often, as events are always being added and updated.
Wishing you and your family the best in this new year!
Now, go have some "New Year's Fun,"
