St. Francis-Emory Healthcare Announces Plans for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Special Day and Time for Teachers and Extended Hours in October

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, September 29, 2020— October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is making it easier than ever to get your yearly mammogram screening. In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Francis Center for Breast Health will host a special event for teachers and extended hours every Tuesday during October. Don’t wait to have your annual mammogram. Our technology includes 3D mammography. A 3D mammogram can improve cancer detection by 40% (breastcancer.org). Breast imaging that offers better accuracy and few callbacks can be life-saving, especially for women with dense breast tissue. To learn more about the St. Francis Center for Breast Health, visit MyStFrancis.com. To schedule your mammogram, please call 706.257.7700.
