Rainy Day Blues

I don't know about you but I've had a case of the rainy day blues since yesterday. Normally I love a good gray rainy day but I think Mother Nature teased me with 2 beautiful days over the weekend and cold rainy days just can't hold a candle to sunny skies and 70 degree temperatures. BUT, I'm not letting the weather get me down. Because I know Spring is just around the corner and Columbus is absolutely gorgeous in the Spring. Pink dogwoods, azaleas, and blue skies make for picture perfect days. And we're lucky to have so many wonderful public spaces and parks to enjoy the wonderful weather and scenery, including Lake Bottom Park, the RiverWalk, Olmstead Garden at the Columbus Museum and the wonderful green space inside Dinglewood Place. It won't be long before the scent of flowers is wafting through the warm breeze and I'm sitting on my front porch with a big glass of sweet tea watching life happen in the South. Ahhhhh….
