FDR’s Little White House Historic Site
Franklin Delano Roosevelt built the Little White House in 1932 while governor of New York, and first came to Warm Springs in 1924 hoping to find a cure for the infantile paralysis (polio).

Remembering and Honoring
Saturday is a special day in Warm Springs because at the Little White House they are Remembering WWII. Attendees will get the chance to shake hands and get autographs from veterans of major campaigns and an FDR portrayer will speak on the progress of the war. Betty the Homemaker will highlight the role of women during WWII and Kelly’s Zeroes will feature displays and exhibits of WWII equipment. Admission is normally $5 - $8 but you can get a special discounted rate if you want to participate in Operation Heartfelt and bring 2 or more care package items for our brave soldiers that don’t receive packages from home. Playing cards, word games, new or gently used CD’s and DVD’s, beef jerky, trail mix and powder drink mixes are specially requested items.
