"Strike One!...Safe!...You're Out!" Those are just some of the phrases you'll hear shouted this weekend at South Commons Softball Complex for the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's 2010 Leadoff Classic. 23 colleges will have teams in this tournament, including 2 local favorites, the Auburn Tigers and the GA Tech Yellow Jackets. This event is one of college softball's premier tournaments. Opening ceremonies begin Friday, February 26 at 10:45 AM and it's time to play ball at 11:00 AM, at which time there will be 6 games going on simultaneously. If you decide you want to see some of the action this weekend, tickets can be purchased at the gate. It's sure to be an awesome display of athletic ability!
