Go All Out for the 81st Annual Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic!

Are you ready for some football?!? With the Fall cool-down right around the corner and football season in full swing, Columbus gets ready to bring in the marching bands, majorettes, tailgaters, and cheerleaders! The whole week (October 2-8) leading up to the 81st Annual Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic will be filled with events celebrating this gridiron tradition. From a golf tournament to parade to tailgating to the game itself and all the pageantry surrounding it all the way to the after-party, you won’t want to miss make sure that you make your reservations now to enjoy the whole football weekend in Columbus!

 

The first first Tuskegee-Morehouse Classic was played in Columbus in 1936. But, this game has been going on even longer - 110 years! The game is now being used as a fundraiser to help raise scholarship funds for college-bound men and women. The host hotel is the Columbus Marriott Hotel right in the middle of Uptown Columbus. Tickets to the game are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate.
