The best part? All the proceeds will benefit PAWS Humane & its numerous community outreach programs and that will help them help out the four-legged friends who are waiting for their forever-family! If you haven’t been to the new PAWS facility, take a ride out Milgen Rd, walk through & be amazed!

“AMPHIBIANS OF THE NIGHT” at Oxbow Meadows

Here’s another good reason to head out to Oxbow Meadows and check out their brand new facility! Friday night, they’re bringing in an ecologist with the Dept of Natural Resources to lead an indoor presentation highlighting frogs and salamanders found in streams and wetlands. …And that would be cool enough…especially after you have a chance to look around at the exhibits in the facility…BUT…after the presentation, you get to go on an evening hike along the wetland trail, identifying the frogs that are croaking and even examining any that are found! You’ll get a manual with monitoring protocol and a color ID key. Admission is free, but you need to RSVP because it’s limited to 25 participants. If this program fills up, not to worry because they have more special programming going on this weekend!
