Looks like Fall Festival Season is well underway in Columbus, GA!

At least it looks more like Fall outside today...and that's a good thing since we are in the thick of the season.  If you need proof, just look at all the festivals going on this weekend!  The one that really caught my eye is the Harvest in the Meadows event at Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center happening on Saturday (Nov 2) from 4:00-8:00pm.  No matter what kind of event they do at Oxbow Meadows, the staff out there really does it up right!  They'll have games for children and adults of ALL AGES (yes, that means us more "mature" folks can have fun and be silly), music, reptile shows, face painting, delicious foods, a bouncy house, and much more.  What kind of 'much more' you ask?  Need I say more than the three most beautiful words I've heard all day?  Caramel. Apple. Bar.  'Nuff said.  I'm so there.

And now that Halloween has been over for all of about 12 hours, it's time to start getting serious about Christmas!  Think I'll head to the Columbus Convention & Trade Center for Christmas Made in the South during my lunch hour and see what sort of holiday treasures I can find for folks this year...and yeah, stuff for me too. It's going on all weekend so there's a good chance I may see you there tomorrow afternoon as well...Happy Christmas Shopping!
