Columbus, GA—RiverCenter presents Valentine’s Day with the Southern Fried Chicks on Wednesday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m.

As seen on the CMT channel, The Southern Fried Chicks bring their “Cage-Free Comedy Tour” to the RiverCenter stage. A special seated, three-course Valentine’s Day dinner will also be available prior to the show, featuring a baby spinach salad with goat cheese, petite filet mignon with a red wine shallot sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red velvet cake. Reservations can be made through the box office prior to February 9.

“Southern Fried Chicks brings some great ladies of comedy together to say those things you always wished that you had said, to wonder out loud about the complexities of life and to simply have a good time,” said RiverCenter Executive Director Norman Easterbrook.  “It will be a great date night for Valentine’s Day and we hope that many will take advantage of the special Valentine’s pre-show dinner.  It’s a free range show that includes great stories, some music, singing, dancing and maybe a bit of audience participation all with a bit of attitude.  It is a complete evening out – great food and fun entertainment all under one roof.”

Valentine’s Day with the Southern Fried Chicks is part of the Synovus Center Stage series, and is made possible through additional support from the Georgia Presenters and the Fox Theatre Institute.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at RiverCenter’s box office Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., by phone at 706-256-3612, and online at
