FanFest Kicks off the 2018 Summer Reading Challenge at the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries 

 

Columbus, GA--5.16.2018:  All right all you Fandom Fans young and old! Super Mario your way to the Columbus Public Library (3000 Macon Road) on May 19th for FanFest from 10am-4pm!  Help kick off the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries Summer Reading Challenge with Super Heroes, Stranger Things, Potter-rific Princesses and Meme-worthy Mashup Mementoes! Put on the cape, crank out that cosplay or just come as you are for the library’s sixth annual multi-fandom MINI-CON. Events throughout the day will include balloon twisters, card tournaments, face painting, crafts for young and old, gaming, vendors, food trucks, and so much more. It’ll be a full day of fandomonium for the whole family.  This event is free and open to the public and happens RAIN OR SHINE! 

We have another amazing summer planned at local libraries, and FanFest is only the beginning. Children, teens and adults (birth-beyond) can sign up for the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries Summer Reading Challenge and learn how to win prizes through July 31.
