Salute to Soldiers Gala and Silent Auction

Sat, Aug 19, 2017

Get your dancing shoes on! The eighth annual Salute to Soldiers Gala and Silent Auction will be August 19, 2017 at the National Infantry Museum. August is always Gala month at the National Infantry Museum Foundation. The special black-tie evening, hosted by the 1775 Society, includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, sumptuous dinner and dancing. With a different theme each year, guests look forward to this popular event. Our theme this year is Fort Benning in the Movies and promises a fun evening! The silent auction is always a hit, with several trips up for bid each year. In the past, guests have won three-day personal tours of the Normandy battlefields, a week in an Italian villa, and a ski trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Gala committee is soliciting items for the 2017 silent auction, including trips, experiences and local art. If you would like to donate an item to the auction contact Jane Bayer at 706-685-2604 or info@nationalinfantryfoundation.org. WHO The Gala is hosted by the 1775 Society, the museum’s premier membership group. You don’t have to be a member to attend.
